Community online
Through this project, the charity aims to build a vibrant online community
of parents, professionals and research around the world to promote an
interchange of ideas and experiences.
The charity will provide a range of web-based mechanisms at
http://www.down-syndrome.org/community to enable parents,
professional and researchers from around the world to provide mutual support,
share experiences, contribute examples of resources and materials, and
share strategies and techniques.
Further details about this project will be provided shortly.
This project will support research activities by informing the charity of
common issues of concern amongst parents and professionals.
- Parents, professionals and researchers worldwide able to share
information and advice about successful strategies to promote the
development of individuals with Down syndrome.
