Tax office employees raise revenue
The kind-hearted staff at the local HM Revenue & Customs offices in
Portsmouth selected us to benefit from their charity of the year
activities.
Local heroes
Staff from the Portsmouth HM Revenue & Customs offices at Wingfield House
and Lynx House have tackled their fundraising with much enthusiasm. They
have already held a 'Posh in the Office' day when employees dressed
themselves and their work areas for posh occasions, a charity football
match, raffles and quizzes. Staff also contributed their favourite
recipes for a cookbook sold at the tax offices.
A team of volunteers from the tax offices also picked up their brushes,
rollers and paint pots to tackle some long-overdue redecorating of our
library/family room at The Sarah Duffen Centre during the Easter 2007
break.
We would like to thank everyone at the local HMRC offices for their
wonderful support so far, and a special mention to Pat Smith from
Business in the Community for helping bring us together.

Support better education for young people who have Down syndrome
Down Syndrome Education International's research programmes investigate all aspects
of development and education for young people who have Down syndrome.
For nearly 30 years, we have pioneered practical ways to help young people who have
Down syndrome to achieve more.
We work with families, teachers and therapists, researchers and support organisations
in over 180 countries, helping over 100,000 people with Down syndrome to achieve
more every year.
Our continuing work depends on the generous support of donors everywhere.
