Training to develop specific expertise and practical skills
Our In Depth Training Days offer detailed information on specific aspects of development
and education to help delegates build hands-on, practical skills in delivering effective
teaching and intervention programmes for children with Down syndrome in specific
areas.
These Training Days are aimed mainly at professionals working with children and
young people with Down syndrome and their families, but will also be useful for
families wanted more detailed information.

The charity's unique expertise means that it is the ideal training partner for
support groups, schools, education, health and other government agencies and Down
syndrome associations across the UK and around the world. If you would like
to commission us to provide a Training Day in your location,
please contact us.
How much will it cost?
To cover the costs of providing these services we offer a simple, all-inclusive
fee structure, with fixed fees per member of staff delivering services on a scale
based on the duration and location of the visit. In our experience, event organisers
can often recover these fees with minimal charges to delegates attending their event.
