Down Syndrome Education Conferences offer a complete programme of keynotes and breakout sessions, offering up-to-date information and practical advice for education and healthcare professionals and families supporting young people with Down syndrome.

Down Syndrome Education Conferences provide a comprehensive programme with age-specific tracks covering motor, cognitive, social, language, literacy and numeracy development from birth to late adolescence.

Days 1 and 2 - In Depth Tracks
Targeted in depth training over two days

During the first two days, each Education Conference provides a series of In Depth Tracks ideally suited to professionals providing care and support for children with Down syndrome.

There are separate In Depth Tracks for providing detailed information for professionals working with children with Down syndrome during their early years (from birth-5 years of age), later childhood (from 5-11 years of age) and adolescence (from 11-16 years of age). These tracks are also suitable for parents seeking more detailed information and guidance.  We also offer a specific track for Speech and Language professionals.

Day 3 - Essentials Tracks
Essential information and guidance in one day

During the third day, each Conference provides a series of Essentials Tracks particularly suitable for families caring for children with Down syndrome during their early years (from birth-5 years of age), later childhood (from 5-11 years of age) and adolescence (from 11-16 years of age). These Essentials Tracks are also suitable for professionals seeking key information.

Track availability

The In Depth and Essentials Tracks offered will vary between Education Conferences. Please check the details for each venue listed on the Venues and Booking page for information about available tracks.
