Down Syndrome Education International works to improve education for young people with Down syndrome.

Scientific progress

We work to understanding how developmental processes are different for people with Down syndrome and how we can best adapt support and education to take account of these differences.

Focused on development and education

We have a track record of pioneering scientific research in all areas of development, including speech, language, literacy, cognition and memory.

Global impact

Based in the UK, we work across the world to support families and professsionals. We receive donations from people and organisations in over 35 countries, supply publications and training services to clients in over 60 countries and deliver current information and guidance via our web sites to regular visitors from over 170 countries.
